Denying reports that traffic came to a standstill in Kumbakonam thanks to the shoot of 'Boss Engira Baskaran', the Arya-Nayantara starrer, director of the film Rajesh says the film's crew never disturbed traffic.

"A big bus was hired and scenes on Arya and Nayantara were shot in Kumbakonam. Though locals gathered in large numbers to watch the shooting, they were very co-operative and never disturbed us. Even we too did not disturb their movement," he says.

After a good showing in 'Siva Manasula Sakthi', the director is now busy with 'Boss Engira Baskaran'. The movie is produced by Vasan Visuals Ventures, who came out with 'Naan Kadavul' last year.

"Boss Engira Baskaran is a complete laugh-riot. Arya plays a light-hearted role. He would be the darling of the masses, once the movie gets released", Rajesh says.

Dwelling further, the director says, "the story is character-driven and all artistes have a role to play in the film". The movie has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
